The Vandals Winter Formal Tickets in San Diego
The local SoCal band, The Vandals are putting on a Christmas concert. I’m assuming these are the real Vandals even though this show doesn’t come up on their webpage. That’s a pretty sweet picture of the band though. They will be playing at the House of Blues with Reeve Oliver and Longmont Potion Castle. Should be another fun way to celebrate the holiday season! The Vandals are a punk rock rock band formed in 1981, and originally from Huntington Beach, California.
As of 2006, the group is comprised of Dave Quackenbush (lead singer), Warren Fitzgerald (guitarist), Joe Escalante (bassist) and Josh Freese (drummer). Escalante is the only founding member.
This lineup is considered by most fans to be far removed from the early 1980s version of the band. The fanbase of the “newer” Vandals is, generally speaking, much younger than many other groups founded in the early ’80′s.
