NBA Preseason: Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Denver Nuggets in San Diego
I hope to go to this preseason game. The Lakers are a great team and they are playing in our own back yard. The game will be at the Sports Arena. Here is some info from wikipedia:

The Lakers play their home games at Staples Center, which they share with their fellow NBA rival, the Los Angeles Clippers, and their sister team, the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA. The Lakers are the current NBA Champions after defeating the Orlando Magic in the final series 4 games to 1.

The Chargers haven’t had as great a start as they did last year and currently their record is 2-3 but there is still time to recover–hopefully. They will be hosting the Baltimore Ravens who are currently 3-2 at Qualcomm Stadium.
About halfway through the season the San Diego Charges will be playing host to the Indianapolis Colts at Qualcomm Stadium. The Chargers unfortunately aren’t on to the greatest start this season, but hopefully they can improve their chances for a division title as the season progresses. In October the Chargers will be host to the NFL expansion team, the Houston Texans at Qualcomm Stadium. Last year the Chargers had one of the best records in the NFL but pretty much threw it away in the post-season. Hopefully they can keep the same (or better record) and get it together in the post-season this time.

The 2007 US Tour opening match of The Mexican National Football (Soccer) Team’s season will be held this year in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium. They will be up against their South American rival, Venezuela. With Hugo Sanchez as their new coach after a devastating Round 2 World Cup loss last year there are great hopes for the Mexican’s this year. The Venezuelan’s have yet to qualify for a World Cup however.
With only one game against the Arizona Cardnals left and having the best record in the AFC, the Chargers are sure to be in the AFC Divisional Playoffs at Quallcomm Stadium on January 13th (and maybe 14th). AMA Supercross is coming to San Diego’s Quallcom Stadium February. I’d love to see these guys jump huge piles of dirt in the middle of Qualcomm stadium, as it looks very exciting, but I don’t think I would make it through the whole thing. My uncles and cousins do supercorss, but an uncle broke both of his legs after he landed wrong. I know it is exciting but it is also very dangerous.
