Recently reunited, the Smashing Pumpkins are out on tour. I loved listening to them in the last 90′s with songs like “Tonight, Tonight” “Today” and “Disarm”. I’m excited to see what new stuff they come up with. Billy Corgan has such a distinct voice. Divorced couple band, The White Stripes is coming to San Diego this summer. They have been together for 10 years, but just in the last few years have become popular in San Diego. In 2004 they won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album for Elephant and a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for Seven Nation Army. The White Stripes will be coming to the Embarcadero Park. Aaron Neville famous for his vibratto singing is coming to San Diego this summer. Him and his high voice singing love songs will be at the Embarcadero Park South. A few years back my husband and I took a weekend trip to Hollywood. Right next to the hotel they were filming the Ryan Seacrest show and Hilary Duff was the musical guest. So we got a live show of Hilary Duff for free. I can’t say it was the best concert I’ve ever been to, but it was fun! Now she’s coming to San Diego at the Embarcadero Park South. Burt Bacharach famed singer of my sister’s favorite song “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” is coming to San Diego. He has many more songs, but this is the one I know him by. This song also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1969. Mr. Bacharach will be singing at the Embarcadero Park South this summer. What better way to listen to a great singer than under the San Diego stars in the middle of the summer.
