Lonestar Tickets in San Diego

By: Jamie    Category: 4th and B Tickets, Concerts

Lonestar, one of Country music’s front running bands is coming to San Diego for what may be their last tour. The lead singer may be leaving the band for a solo carrer. They have had numerous hits such as “Amazed”, “I’m Already There”, “My Front Porch Looking In”, and “Mr. Mom” but sales have declined lately. I am still a fan. If you can’t find the tickets you want for the show at 4th & B at the box office here are the places to shop for after market tickets:

1. AIW Tickets always has a great inventory and usually has the cheapest prices too.

2. Stubhub is an excellent place to shop online as well.
They’ll even let you sell your tickets there.

3. TicketsNow is also a solid after market ticket vendor and usually has access the hard to find tickets

4. If those aren’t cutting it for you try a couple of these ticket vendors as well:

Here’s some info from Wikipedia about Lonestar:

Although all of Lonestar’s current members are from Texas, the band was formed in Nashville in 1992 as Texassee (which would soon be changed to Lonestar). The group’s first single, “Tequila Talkin’”, reached #8 on the U.S. Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, with “No News”, the followup, becoming the group’s first Number One single on that chart. In 1996, lead singer Richie McDonald also sang harmony vocals on Mindy McCready’s Top 20 single “Maybe He’ll Notice Her Now”.

During Lonestar’s early years, John Rich was also a member as the band’s bass guitarist and occasional lead singer. John sang lead vocals for one single, “Heartbroke Every Day”, as well as several album tracks on Lonestar and Crazy Nights. In addition, he co-wrote two of the band’s singles — “Come Cryin’ To Me” and “Say When”. He left the group in 1998, and after an unsuccessful solo career, he is now part of the country duo Big & Rich. There has not been an official replacement for John since his departure.

Shortly after Rich’s departure, Lonestar released their signature song “Amazed”, a ballad which spent eight weeks at #1 the Hot Country Songs chart during the summer of 1999. The song subsequently climbed to the top of Billboard Hot 100 chart in March 2000, making Lonestar the first country act to top both the Hot Country Songs and Hot 100 charts since 1983, when Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton accomplished the same feat with “Islands in the Stream”
