Dennis DeYoung, formerly of Styx, is touring this summer and coming to Humpreys By The Bay in San Diego. Humpreys By The Bay summer concerts always have interesting shows. I didn’t think I’d ever heard of the Alan Parsons Project, but when I looked up their most popular song, “Eye In The Sky” I definitely knew who they were. Can’t say I would have recognized them by any other song though. For those who don’t know The Alan Parsons Project was a British progressive rock band active between 1975 and 1987 founded by Englishman Alan Parsons and Scotsman Eric Woolfson. One of my favorite groups is coming to Humpreys By The Bay this summer–Air Supply. I remember having “All Out of Love” on a tape when I was in high school. I would belt out as loud as I could while driving home. A couple years ago I finally went out and bought their Greatest Hits album.
